The Importance of Story
In all of our lives God is the author, we are simply the inkblots on His page. That’s why storytelling and stories themselves are important, because comedy, tragedy and human drama belong to God. I think of Ps 29:1-2:
Ascribe to the LORD, O mighty ones,
ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name;
worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness.
We need to ascribe, write, communicate and convey the story God is telling in people and in all places.
